| What
is the assessment procedure? |
|
| |
We
shall set up four Assessment Panels which mainly comprise
experts and academics in the education sector, experienced
school heads and front-line experienced teachers. These
Assessment Panels are-

|
Panel
on Chinese Language Education Key Learning Area; |
| •
|
Panel
on English Language Education Key Learning Area; |
| •
|
Panel
on Language Development for Students in Kindergartens; |
| •
|
Panel
on Language Education (Special Needs). |

| |
| The
Assessment Panels will examine the nominations based on
their professional judgement and experience. An independent
Advisory Panel comprising well-known educators and
social dignitaries will also be established to consider
and endorse the recommendations of the Assessment Panels. |

| To
avoid conflict of interest, all members of the Assessment
Panels as well as any other persons who will be involved
in the assessment process have to declare interest. |
