To consider and endorse, where appropriate, the assessment results recommended by the Assessment Panel on Curriculum Leadership, Assessment Panel on Liberal Studies, Assessment Panel on Personal, Social and Humanities Education Key Learning Area and the Assessment Panel on Physical Education Key Learning Area; and |
(b) |
To give, where necessary, short commentaries on the awardees and their teaching practices for publication and dissemination purposes. |

steer the long-term development and to decide on the main features of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence; |

oversee the launch and implementation of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence; |

advise on the publicity strategy of the Chief Executive's Award for Teaching Excellence; |

Terms of Reference of the Assessment Working Group (2013/2014) |
(a) |
advise on the nomination procedures and associated requirements for CEATE (2013/2014) which focuses on the Curriculum Leadership, Liberal Studies, Personal, Social and Humanities Education Key Learning Area and Physical Education Key Learning Area; |
(b) |
advise on the assessment criteria and associated matters of CEATE (2013/2014); |
(c) |
advise and oversee the assessment process and to consider the assessment results as presented by the assessment panels; and |
(d) |
review the nomination, assessment and adjudication processes of CEATE (2013/2014) following the completion of such processes. |

To conduct detailed assessment on the short-listed nominations and to recommend a list of awardees for the CEATE and recipients of the Certificate of Merit; |
(c) |
To examine the "Comprehensive Report on the Assessment of CEATE Nominations (CL)" to be compiled by the Assessment Officer; and |
